Members of Milan’s Sri Lankan community recently took part in an intercultural event at the Church of Scientology, centred on peaceful coexistence, youth participation and common values. The meeting highlighted an intercultural values event in Milan, using the common-sense moral code written by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard as a basis for discussion.
The event gave families, community leaders and young people a space to discuss responsibility, mutual respect and the role of values in integration. Young people played a central role in the gathering, reflecting the community’s interest in offering the next generation stable points of reference in a changing society.
Ivan Arjona noted that Europe’s strength is also found in families, communities and volunteers who help build trust across cultures. The Milan event formed part of wider Scientology-supported efforts in Europe to encourage education, prevention, eu newspapers ethical values and community betterment.
